Birmingham Tree Lighting

Get in the Christmas spirit as we light up the town at the Birmingham Tree Lighting event on Wednesday, November 23 at 6 p.m. in Shain Park. On the eve of Thanksgiving, the community will come together with Santa and Birmingham's Mayor for live caroling and the lighting of a 35-foot blue spruce with more than 40,000 LED lights!

The Santa House will be open from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. following the Tree Lighting Ceremony in Shain Park on Wednesday, November 23. The Santa House is located under the pavilion in Shain Park. Following opening night, the Santa House will be open on weekends through Christmas. Download the 2016 Santa House schedule to view a detailed list with dates and hours of operation.
Children may give him their list and have their picture taken with him. A $5 donation goes to the Birmingham Lions Club and Leader Dogs for the Blind.
