Royal Oak Easter Event – Detroit Zoo Bunnyville- 8450 W. 10 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067
An “eggstravaganza” of family fun is planned for the Detroit Zoo’s annual Bunnyville celebration, featuring games, crafts, live entertainment, zookeeper talks and much more! Festivities also include the Jelly Bean Jamboree, Funny Bunny Games, whisker painting and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Enjoy live entertainment, including music by Miss Paula and the Candy Bandits, The Amazing Clark magic show, and “Bunnyville Follies”.
Discounted Admission Available- Bunnyville visitors are encouraged to bring a canned or other non-perishable food item to be donated to Gleaners Community Food Bank. Each guest with a food donation will receive a reduced admission price of $9, parking not included. Admission for Detroit Zoological Society Members is free, but Members are encouraged to bring food donations.

15,000 marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter to be turned in for a prize. You only need one marshmallow to exchange for a prize.  Three age groups- 4 years and younger and individuals with disabilities, children 5-7, children 8-12.

Join us for an Egg Hunt specifically designed for kids (age 10 and under) with special needs.  Separate hunt options for those with sensory issues or kids who use wheel chairs.  Crafts, games, face painting, and more.  Free, but registration is required, and space is limited.

Celebrate spring and the new life that is upon us. Learn about the many animals that hatch from eggs. Discover how eggs protect them as they grow. Take a short spring hike. Participate in egg games, including an egg hunt with special prizes, and make spring crafts. Dress for the weather. Ages 4 -10 years. Adult partners are free and must stay with children throughout the program.

Paint & Bounce, 12:00pm – 2:00pm, $24.99 per child
Come and paint and then bounce! We will be painting an easy Easter-themed canvas with Ms. Teresa. Painting will be about an hour, followed by an hour of bouncing. This event is recommended for 5 and up. Prepaid reservations are recommended. Each event sells out at 24 children.

Bunny Bounce, 2:00pm – 4:00pm, $10 per child

Flinging into Spring Community Event
2nd Annual Flinging into Spring Commuity Event.  Easter egg hunt takes place at 11 a.m. where we will be waiting for you at 10:45 a.m. to be separated into appropriate age groups.  Then, we will allow everyone to enjoy bounce houses, obstacle courses, and fire truck and ambulance to explore.  Evanswood.org.

Easter Egg Hunt
Troy Community Center- 3179 Livernois, Troy, MI 48083
Grab your basket and hop over to this egg hunt, kids can hunt for treat-filled plastic eggs on the gymnasium floor. After the hunt, the gym will feature a moon bounce and games. Swim in the indoor pool and find the gold eggs for prizes. Bring your phone to take a photo with the Easter Bunny. There will be three classes of egg hunters: Sunny Bunnies kids up to age 3: 6 pm, $5; Cotton Tails kids ages 4-7: 6:30 pm, $8; Hip Hoppers ages 8-12: 7 pm, $8.

Warren

April 8, 2017- 10 am-1 pm
Spring Carnival at Warren Community Center- 5460 Arden Ave., Warren, MI- 586-268-8400
This family-friendly community event features washable tattoos, a puppet show, petting zoo and inflatables for kids to enjoy. You’ll even get to visit with the Easter Bunny. Bring along a canned good to donate to the Salvation Army. Free.
