What a fantastic ride this family home makeover has been! As with any remodeling, there were certainly bumps along the way, but the family couldn’t be happier. Their home started as boring and dated, dark and dreary. But now each member has rooms that are bright and stylish that give them happiness and peace.

The Spend: None of our projects were DIY, and professional painters, electricians, plumbers, seamstresses, and handymen were hired for the work. We were able to re-do 6 rooms—2 bathrooms, girl’s room, boy’s room, master bedroom, and living room by reusing what we could and making easy, cosmetic changes. Did we meet our goal of not spending more than $10,000 on the total project?
Bathrooms- $2000
Girl’s Bedroom- $700
Boy’s Bedroom- $600
Master Bedroom- $1000
Living Room- $6000
Total Cost of Family-Friendly Home Remodel- $10,300
Well, we came pretty close!Thank you to Linda Shears, ASID for your gorgeous work!
